DUO MARELI
guitar duo
Eliška Cábová & Martin Cába

ABOUT US
Duo Mareli is formed by the married couple Eliška and Martin, who have been playing together since 2016. The duo has played a number of concerts throughout the Czech Republic and participated in masterclasses with renowned teachers such as Martin Schwarz, Thomas Offermann, Martin Krajčo, Pia Gazarek Offermann and Campbell Diamond. They are currently studying chamber music under the direction of Anna Hronová at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague.
Duo Mareli specializes in combining traditional guitar repertoire with their own arrangements of piano pieces, thus expanding the sound palette of the guitar and at the same time enriching the guitar repertoire with new and unusual arrangements of compositions. During their career, several Czech composers have already dedicated their works to them, including Václav Bůžek, Vilém Zelenka, Antonín Pevala and Ladislav Pazdera. They play guitars made by Petr Matoušek, model Double Top.
